Mercer County Animal Shelter is in desperate need of hard and soft dog food and soft cat food. All donations are appreciated.
The shelter is bursting at the seams with dogs. We need foster homes. Here are some benefits of having dogs in a foster home:

Notes: Ginger is about a year old and already spayed. She is a herding dog, so she is best suited for a family with no small children. She is high energy and loves to jump and run, so she would thrive in a house with a backyard or land to roam around on. She pulls a little on a leash, but not terribly.
Cats and chickens/livestock are a big NO for Ginger, but she likes most other dogs. As always, we recommend a meet-and-greet before adoption just to make sure your pups get along with her.This dog has been available for 91 days

- Dogs that have been spayed/neutered are available for adoption to any location including out of state residents. Please note ALL animals are spayed or neutered before leaving the shelter.
