Mercer County Animal Shelter is in desperate need of hard and soft dog food and soft cat food. All donations are appreciated.
The shelter is bursting at the seams with dogs. We need foster homes. Here are some benefits of having dogs in a foster home:

Notes: Lucinda is about a year old and not very big (around 30 lb, maybe a little less). She is extremely sweet, though a little shy, and seems to be good with other dogs. She keeps a clean kennel and does not bark much if at all. Lucinda is only just now experiencing walking on a leash for the first time, so she will need a little bit of patience and work.

- Dogs that have been spayed/neutered are available for adoption to any location including out of state residents. Please note ALL animals are spayed or neutered before leaving the shelter.
