Mercer County Animal Shelter is in desperate need of hard and soft dog food and soft cat food. All donations are appreciated.
The shelter is bursting at the seams with dogs. We need foster homes. Here are some benefits of having dogs in a foster home:

Notes: Valley’s rescue plans did not work out, and she is now AVAILABLE for adoption. She is already spayed and a little under two years old (born 10/25/2024). Valley is sometimes dominant toward other dogs and needs a meet-and-greet before adoption. She does not like small dogs and may not be good with cats. She is super sweet, though, and loves playing and affection. She is supposed to be house trained and crate trained.

- Dogs that have been spayed/neutered are available for adoption to any location including out of state residents. Please note ALL animals are spayed or neutered before leaving the shelter.
